What is SkyBuds?
SkyBuds are AI companion plush toys that actually talk to your child. They listen, respond, remember every conversation, teach 12 languages, and tell personalized bedtime stories. Three characters to choose from: Ash (a brave fire dragon), Pearl (a clever dragon-cat), and Sprout (a gentle nature bear). No screen required.
How is this different from a tablet or screen?
There is no screen. Your child holds a plush toy and talks to it like a friend. No scrolling, no algorithms, no ads. Just real conversation that builds vocabulary, confidence, and emotional intelligence.
Is SkyBuds safe for children?
Yes. SkyBuds is being built with kids' privacy as a foundation. We're completing kidSAFE Seal Program certification ahead of our August 2026 ship date, so no SkyBud reaches a child without verified privacy protections in place. All conversations are filtered for age-appropriate content. Parents have full control over topics, quiet hours, and can review conversation summaries from the app. We don't sell children's data.
What ages is SkyBuds for?
Ages 3 to 10. The AI adapts its language, topics, and complexity to match your child's age and development. A conversation with a 4-year-old sounds completely different from one with a 9-year-old.
Who are the SkyBuds characters?
Ash is a brave fire dragon who loves science, puzzles, and asking "why?" Pearl is a calm, creative dragon-cat who helps kids express feelings and tell stories.
