👋 Hi! I'm your Skybud.
I'm your buddy. When you talk to me, I listen so I can answer you. This page tells you what I remember and what I never do.
👂 What do I hear?
When you talk to me, I hear your voice, just like a friend does. Computers help me understand your words and pick my answer. Then your voice goes away. I don't keep it.
Some families say yes to letting us keep a few recordings, to help all Skybuds get better at understanding kids. Your grown-up decides that, not me. And after a year, those go away too.
📓 What do I remember?
I write down what we talk about, a bit like a diary. That way I don't forget your stories and your favorite things. After a year, my old notes are erased.
Your grown-up can read our chats in their app any time. No secrets from your grown-up.
🚫 What do I never do?
- I never tell other people what you tell me.
- I never show you ads or try to sell you things.
- I have no camera. I can't see you or take pictures.
- I don't know where you live.
- I never let strangers talk to you through me.
🦸 Who's in charge?
Your grown-up. They set me up before we ever talked. They can read our chats, pause me, and tell us to erase everything. If they ask, we erase it. Promise.
💛 Big feelings?
If you feel sad, scared, or worried, you can tell me. But grown-ups are the best helpers. Please also tell a grown-up you trust, like your parent or your teacher.
