BubblePal, made by Haivivi, is a small round device that clips onto a stuffed animal your child already owns and gives it an AI voice. SkyBuds is the whole package: the plush and the companion are one thing, designed together. Both are screen-free and both aim at the same moment, a kid who wants their toy to actually answer.

When BubblePal is the better buy
Your child has a bonded-for-life stuffed animal and would trade you before trading it. BubblePal keeps that exact toy and adds the voice, which is genuinely clever. It ships now, and depending on the retailer it can cost less. The trade-offs to check for yourself: the voice comes from a visible clip-on rather than the toy itself, and buying through resellers means prices and support vary.
When SkyBuds is the better buy
You want the character and the companion to be the same thing. Ash, Pearl, and Sprout each have a personality that the conversation actually follows, and there is no separate gadget to clip on, charge, or lose. The plush is the product.
